Therapy takes place primarily in the home, community, and school with approval from the school.
Supports at home are designed to provide the family and child with a positive foundation for learning and growth. In addition to supporting your child developing new skills, your clinician will support you as you navigate unique challenges ensuring you have the depth of knowledge and support needed to make parenting feel less like an island, and more like a community.
Supports in the community can be established to help your child attend important medical appointments, get haircuts, attend extracurricular activities, or go on family outings.
Supports in the school require more coordination and not all schools will allow therapy providers into the school setting. When schools are open to collaboration, services in the school help ensure your child is actively engaged in learning and growing skills necessary to continue to succeed in school.

Prior to starting care Family First will work with your insurance provider to verify benefits and identify any cost associated with care.
-
Family members, caregivers, and even teachers and other professionals can participate in therapy.
Parents will receive caregiver supports on a weekly basis. This provides space for the parent to work in close collaboration with your child's clinician to address your families changing needs.
About Us
As a parent of two children diagnosed with Autism and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges and triumphs of raising neurodiverse children. My journey has been both rewarding and, at times, isolating—especially as my oldest child aged out of many therapies and services that are vital to ongoing support. Despite these challenges, my commitment to ensuring my children’s growth, happiness, and wellbeing remains as strong as ever.
Through these experiences, I’ve come to realize that families like mine often find themselves overlooked and under-supported. My vision with Family First Therapy is to change that narrative by providing truly family-centered support system that empowers parents to confidently navigate the complexities of raising neurodiverse children. Every family deserves to feel heard, valued, and equipped with the tools to thrive—not just in therapy sessions, but in everyday life.
I’m passionate about building a community where families are not just participants in their children’s therapy but active collaborators in a journey toward growth, confidence, and lasting change. Together, we can create an environment where families feel supported, children are empowered, and progress is celebrated.
